Over all these years, Erzbergrodeo mastermind Karl Katoch has been in close contact with MX-legend Heinz Kinigadner, who as a spokesperson of KTM as well as Wings for Life has been providing essential input for the Erzbergrodeo. Kinigadner and Red Bull have been supporters of the event from day one on and they are still very important pillars in the whole Erzbergrodeo concept. ORF Sport (Austrian Broadcasting Company) is another loyal partner, whithout whom the Erzbergrodeo would not exist in nowaday’s dimensions.
„We have always put our emphasis on putting the spotlight on our partners and riders. Now, in difficult times, we are being paid back for our efforts by sponsors and riders. And of course, the Red Bull Hare Scramble is even more prestigious these days than it ever was!“, says Karl Katoch.
New side events like the 2 Cylinder King’s Class, Rocket Ride, Freestyle Motocross Party and the peaceful raid on the town of Eisenerz (2,500 bikes!) have added even more excitement to the event and keep visitors busy and thrilled for 4 days.
