Steep, steeper, Rocket Ride!

Three Austrian riders on the winners’ podium – this  is a truly epic moment in the 16 years of the Erzbergrodeo. This time it were not the international top stars who stayed victorious in the spectacular Rocket Ride. Austrian MXers took their chance and defeated their competitors.

Last year, Seppi Fally had already shown his great potential by winning the Iron Road Prologue. Hadn’t it been for a mistake in the very last round of the Rocket Ride in 2009, this year’s win would have been his second consecutive title claim.

Who dares, wins! Rocket Ride 2010 is already history

27-years-old Seppi Fally showed  enormous determination and willpower during all qualification runs and convincingly won the super final.

Second place went to 29-years-old Styrian Mario Hirschmugl, who defied rain and knee-deep mud with his 4-stroke KTM. Multiple Austrian MX champ Michael Staufer from Lower Austria secured third place.
